On Saturday, Nyck de Vries made no friends with his fellow countryman Robin Frijns. The Formula 2 champion from 2019 tried to catch up with Antonio Felix da Costa, but he was left disappointed.
The Dutch drivers were in fourth and fifth place and therefore had a good chance to earn a large number of points. After the crash it was the end of the story for De Vries, Frijns was able to continue. The 28-year-old driver, however, had too much damage to his car and fell back beyond the top ten.
