Kevin Magnussen: "The car looks nice, but that does not mean that it is also fast"

Haas revealed their new design for 2020 and it is a brand new paint job ahead of the new season. Kevin Magnussen is a fan of the new livery but knows that having a good looking car doesn't mean it is going to be fast out on the track.

"The car looks nice, but that does not mean that it is also fast," Magnussen told the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.

Team owner Gene Haas hopes that his team will not only resemble the 2018 car in colour but also in performance. In 2018, Haas finished fifth in the constructors' championship and Gene announced that this will again be the goal for 2020. Magnussen is a lot more careful in his predictions.

Haas had a poor 2019 and will be happy with any improvement.
