Renault know it's not all about the money in F1

Renault want to improve on their results from recent seasons and through doing this they brought in Daniel Ricciardo from Red Bull for what was a large salary.

The car have set themselves higher goals and more money has been made availbile to them to try and make sure that they can do so.

The top three teams, Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull are in a different league to everyone else, but Renault aims to become the fourth best team.

In the current standings Ricciardo is 11th on 22 points with his teamate Nico Hulkenberg five points further back on in 14th position, with the team lying sixth in the constructors.

However, the car has let them down on numerous occasions which has caused for them to not perform as well and they would've liked, Alfa Romeo are just a further seven points back so it's vital they perform well after the sumer break.
