Helmut Marko has made light of the upcoming budget cap for the 2021 season, saying that Red Bull may have to find the best bookkeeper in the world to stay under the cap.
The $175 million price cap is expected to spice up F1 in a big way and make the field much more even, but some of the bigger teams have expressed potential difficulties with the ruling.
Liberty Media boss Chase Carey told Servus TV: "We have a good year to discuss the problem in detail. I think the structure we proposed was successful.
"Our sport is complicated, we need rules in which everything is reliably observed."
These comments led to Marko adding: "In the worst case, we have a bookkeeping world championship in which you are disqualified two months later because you have not paid the costs. You will have to partially cut people off. development of the hyper car. We can also use a wind tunnel for both teams, Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso together."
