Leclerc is going to look after puppy Leo after F1 weekend

Despite spending many weeks a year away from home, Charles Leclerc selected a dog last Monday, adding a new member to his family. Leclerc answered who will look after him during race weekends, and promises to look after the puppy himself when he returns from his motorsport commitments.

"I've always had dogs within my family, but never had my own. And yes, he joined last Monday and he's been great," Leclerc said ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix. Yet that immediately raises the question of who should look after Leo at a time when Leclerc is busy racing in the top class of motorsport. The Ferrari driver himself answers conclusively.

"My girlfriend, but I do take care of him when I'm at home," said Leclerc, who has to compete in around 24 Grands Prix per year meaning he is away from home for half of the year. On Instagram, Leclerc already posted a few photos and videos with his four-legged friend.
