2 November at 16:33

Lewis Hamilton finished in second place at the Mexico City Grand Prix, the seven-time world champion now returns to one of his favourite tracks of the calendar at Interlagos. Mercedes have won the last two races in Brazil and seek to extend that winning run. The Mercedes driver shared his thoughts on the possible order this weekend, and his team’s battle in the constructors’ standings with Ferrari.

"I expect Red Bull to be quick. They have been quick the whole year, except for Singapore We expect the Ferraris to be quick," Lewis Hamilton responded on what he expects from the final race of the current Formula 1 triple header.

Regarding his team, Hamilton said: "I hope that our car works well here, like it did for Austin, but you could just never predict what could be bad, what could be good. So we're just trying to prepare the best way we can."

Hamilton also believes it will be a tough task to keep Ferrari behind to claim second place behind Red Bull this season. "It's a really fun, enjoyable battle. I think these guys did a great job in qualifying in the last race, but fortunately, we were able to leapfrog them, but I think it's going to be close in these last three races. So it's going to take all hands on deck to stop these guys," Hamilton concluded.
