The starting grid for the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix is final. Lewis Hamilton will start from pole position for the first time since 2021. Max Verstappen completes the front row of the grid. Lando Norris will start from third place.

Hamilton and Verstappen on the front row

For the first time since the exciting 2021 season, Hamilton and Verstappen are back next to each other on the front row of the grid. Often then, this was good for a lot of spectacle. The teammates of the two world champions had a less good qualifying. Sergio Perez and George Russell start the race from ninth and 18th respectively.
The second row of the grid is all for the McLaren team, which has clearly made great steps. Ferrari got no further than P6 with Charles Leclerc and P11 with Carlos Sainz. All drivers will start the race from the grid.
