With the Monaco Grand Prix now in the books - and once again won by Kimi Antonelli - Formula 1 heads straight to Barcelona for the seventh round of the season. Here is the full schedule for the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosted the first on-track tests of Formula 1's new 2026-generation cars, with a five-day test programme at the end of January giving teams their first opportunity to get to grips with their new machines. The action then moved to Bahrain in February for two further test sessions before the season officially got underway with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne in March.
As in Monaco, the Spanish Grand Prix weekend will follow the traditional format, with the usual three practice sessions before qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday. It will also be another crucial round in the title fight, with all eyes on whether George Russell can reverse his recent downturn in form or if Kimi Antonelli can claim a sixth consecutive victory and further extend his championship lead.
Track action gets underway on Friday, 12 June, with Free Practice 1 scheduled for 12:30 BST (13:30 CET), followed by Free Practice 2 at 16:00 BST (17:00 CET). Teams and drivers will return to the circuit on Saturday for the final practice session at 11:30 BST (12:30 CET) before qualifying takes place at 15:00 BST (16:00 CET). The weekend then concludes on Sunday, 14 June, with the Spanish Grand Prix getting underway at 14:00 BST (15:00 CET). Below is the full timetable.

Racing Bulls to run special football-themed livery in Barcelona weekend

With the FIFA World Cup just around the corner, Racing Bulls will sport a special football-themed livery at next weekend's Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. The initiative extends beyond the car itself, with the team also unveiling a dedicated kit inspired by football culture and design.
A central feature of the project is the newly created VCARB FC crest, which includes three stars representing the three host nations of the upcoming tournament: the United States, Canada and Mexico. The special design is intended to celebrate the connection between Formula 1 and football ahead of one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.
