F1 World Championship final standings | Leclerc beats Perez for P2

Charles Leclerc has won the battle with Sergio Perez in the world championship. The Monegasque finished one place ahead of his rival at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, securing second place by just three points.
Max Verstappen had been sure of first place in the rankings since the race weekend in Japan. His victory in the final race allowed him to finish on 454 points, giving him 146 points more than pursuer Leclerc.
George Russell managed to hold on to his fourth place. The Briton did not manage to threaten the top teams in Abu Dhabi but still managed to finish ahead of Carlos Sainz who finished fifth. The Ferrari driver managed to add six more points to his name than dropout Lewis Hamilton.
Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas also managed to finish consecutively in the top ten. Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo share 11th place with 37 points, followed by Kevin Magnussen, PIerre Gasly and Lance Stroll. Nicholas Latifi, who is leaving Williams, picked up just two points this year.
