Surer has the expectation that the updates will make for a powerful Ferrari, which is why he labels the Italians as favorites. "They're bringing a big update that should make them the favorites again in Spain," the former Formula 1 driver let it be known in conversation with F1-insider.com. "The circuit was already suited to the driving characteristics of the Ferrari."

Red Bull also comes with updates

Ferrari is not the only team coming with updates, however, as Red Bull will also be making some changes to the car. Team boss Chrstian Horner previously revealed that Red Bull has saved as much as seven kilos in weight on the car.
