Max Verstappen is only 24 years old, but he has already reached the top-ten in an illustrious list. The Red Bull Racing driver has already finished on the podium 63 times in his early career, moving clear of David Coulthard (62 podiums). It is likely that Verstappen will move up to eighth place this season.

Verstappen has participated in 146 Grands Prix and of these he managed to finish between first and third position 63 times. Lewis Hamilton still leads the list with 183 podium finishes. The drivers who are currently still active and are also in the top-ten are Sebastian Vettel (third), Fernando Alonso (sixth) and Valtteri Bottas (ninth).

Record of podium finishes in F1

1. Lewis Hamilton - 183 times
2. Michael Schumacher - 155 times
3. Sebastian Vettel - 122 times
4. Alain Prost - 106 times
5. Kimi Raikkonen - 103 times
6. Fernando Alonso - 98 times
7. Ayrton Senna - 80 times
8. Rubens Barrichello - 68 times
9. Valtteri Bottas - 67 times
10. Max Verstappen - 63 times

The victory in the Miami Grand Prix was for Verstappen his 23rd in his F1 career. Currently he occupies the fourteenth place, but again he could end up in the top-ten in 2022. Number ten Niki Lauda is in fact on 25 victories. Alonso is on 32 wins and is sixth, a nice target for Verstappen this season.
