Ferrari: "We'll give Vettel elbow pads!"

Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene has jokingly suggested providing driver Sebastian Vettel with elbow pads, as the German has had a number of on-track collisions during 2018 that made him spin around his car.
Let’s list all of his spins here; First, there was his turn one collision with Valtteri Bottas in France. Then there was Lewis Hamilton in Italy. There was Max Verstappen in Japan (and China, but that was Verstappen’s fault) and finally, Daniel Ricciardo in the United States. That’s quite the list.
When Arrivabene was asked about this nasty habit of Vettel, he gave a rather cheeky response.
“Maybe we will give Sebastian Vettel elbow pads to fight back better when things get tough with his rivals!” he joked at the Autosprint awards.
"No, seriously - we are pursuing the same goals as Seb."

"Seb has to show his best at the wheel of a Ferrari. Of course, we have to give him the foundation, with a good car and impeccable work.
"If we can do that, and he does too, then I know that Vettel will get an extra portion of performance that will help us achieve big things."
With Charles Leclerc, Vettel will now have one of the biggest talents in the grid in the garage next to him, which could mean there will no longer be a clear number one and number two at the team. Could that hurt the Italians in the long run?
