"Lewis Hamilton is the best driver we have ever produced"

Former World Champion Damon Hill believes that Lewis Hamilton is the best driver in history. Hill believes that Hamilton has achieved the "impossible" but thinks that Hamilton won't be remembered as much as Michael Schumacher.

"It is clear that Lewis is the best driver we have ever produced," the 1996 world champion told the Daily Mail. “Only one more [WK] after this and he is on level with Schumacher. Something that was considered impossible."

Hill believes that Hamilton is the greatest driver but thinks that he is not recognized as much as Michael Schumacher because the sport is less popular.

Hamilton is almost certainly going to win his sixth World Championship this season putting him only one behind Schumacher.
