MotoGP returns to the iconic Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas this weekend as Marc Marquez looks to secure his first win of the season and catch up to Aprilia riders Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin. COTA is known as one of Marquez's favourite tracks and he is a six-time winner there, though last year he crashed out of the lead in wet conditions which led to teammate Bagnaia picking up the victory. Ducati have won each of the last four races here and will be hoping to regain some form after a disappointing start to 2026 in which they have been
largely dominated by Aprilia so far.
Marco Bezzecchi will be looking to extend his winning streak to five straight races as he emerges as an early title favourite. His teammate and 2024 World Champion
Jorge Martin will also be looking to build on his impressive form after an injury-plagued 2025.
Elsewhere, it looks as though it could be a difficult weekend for both Japanese manufacturers Honda and Yamaha who have largely been playing catch-up in the opening rounds.
