F1 LIVE | Verstappen v Hamilton battle continues: Austrian GP qualifying

Saturday is as always about qualifying in Formula 1. Just like last week, the drivers will qualify at the Red Bull Ring, but this time for the Austrian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen seems to have the upper hand, but Lewis Hamilton will be pushing hard to topple his rival in Austria.

Despite Formula 1 qualifying at the Red Bull Ring for the second time in two weekends, that doesn't mean it will be a boring qualifying session. Last week's times were close and Pirelli have brought a compound softer tyre this weekend.

The battle for pole position will probably be between Red Bull Racing and Mercedes. Last week Max Verstappen was the fastest man in the Austrian Alps, but Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton followed closely behind the Dutchman.

In qualifying for the Styrian Grand Prix, George Russell was one of the tastemakers. He managed to get his Williams, which normally qualifies at the back, to within 0.008 of Q3. Can the young Briton improve on this feat in Austria?
