What happened in Austria so far?

It’s race day in Austria, and all eyes are on the Red Bull Ring as we gear up for the final showdown of the weekend — the Austrian Grand Prix.
Lando Norris continued McLaren’s dominant form in FP3 at the Red Bull Ring, topping the timesheets in a session that echoed McLaren’s 1–2 pace with teammate Oscar Piastri close behind, with the Brit then converting this into pole later on in qualifying.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc managed to split the two McLarens by securing P2, while teammate Lewis Hamilton also impressed with a strong showing in P4. This solid qualifying result comes after Ferrari introduced a series of floor-related upgrades for their car heading into the Austrian Grand Prix.
However, Max Verstappen faced a disappointing qualifying session at his team's home Grand Prix, unable to complete a final flying lap due to yellow flags on track. This setback prevented him from fully unleashing the RB21’s potential, leaving him to settle for seventh on the grid.
Meanwhile, V-carb's Liam Lawson seized the opportunity and out-qualified Verstappen, showcasing impressive pace to claim sixth place and adding to Red Bull’s challenges at the Red Bull Ring.
