Verstappen to once again start from pole position

Carlos Sainz joins the four-time world champion on the front row, while Liam Lawson and Kimi Antonelli will start from the second row this Sunday.
The two McLaren drivers had a difficult qualifying session. Oscar Piastri caused a red flag after making a rare mistake. As a result, he will start ninth, alongside Charles Leclerc, who also crashed out in the final session.
Lando Norris couldn't capitalize on his teammate's incident. The Briton will line up immediately in front of his teammate, finishing seventh.
The Woking-based team also has the chance to secure the constructors' title this weekend in Baku. See what McLaren has to do to achieve that here!
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix begins at 12:00 BST / 13:00 CET on Sunday. You can follow all the action with GPblog's liveblog as well.

Verstappen is contender for the world title according to McLaren

After qualifying, McLaren's team principal Andrea Stella spoke about Verstappen's chances of defending his world title.
"They have taken a new floor in Monza. They might be setting up their car slightly differently. We hear now the staff talking about [the car] grounding much more than it was doing before.
"So they might have a lot of performance. And I would not be surprised at all that Red Bull may continue the streak that they have started, because pole position in Monza, victory [there as well], pole position here.
"Red Bull are a very serious contender to win races and a very serious contender for the Drivers' Championship," the Italian team boss explained.
