Lewis Hamilton found himself in the crosshairs of the stewards after his elimination from Sprint Qualifying at the Brazil Grand Prix.
The Scuderia
Ferrari driver appeared to be experiencing a nightmare scenario, having not only suffered a surprise SQ2 elimination but also been summoned by the stewards for a double-yellow-flag infringement.

During the Friday session, Hamilton had swooped past teammate
Charles Leclerc after the Monegasque spun in the final seconds of qualifying. The seven-time world champion, was handed a reprimand by the stewards.
The lap time deleted for the double-yellow-flag infringement wasn’t the British driver’s quickest, meaning he still holds his 11th-place starting spot for Saturday's Sprint race.
Red Bull Racing advisor
Helmut Marko offered a downcast outlook on
Max Verstappen’s outing ahead of the Sprint.
The 82-year-old, who was quizzed about the struggles of the four-time world champion during qualifying for the Sao Paulo GP, highlighted the lack of grip in the Red Bull car.
The Austrian, however, detailed that the team would aim to resolve its issues ahead of the main race on Sunday.
