Piquet speaks on Verstappen's future

Mas Verstappen's future continues to be a topic of huge discussion, and now, Nelson Piquet Jr has had his say on the matter.
The Dutchman is still heavily rumoured with the potential move to Mercedes for the 2026 season, with his tenth season taking place at Red Bull in 2025.
However, according to Verstappen's brother-in-law, that will be his last at the Austrian team. "They are talking, everyone knows, right? Just missing final contract details," Piquet explained.

Wolff regrets costly McLaren decision

Hindsight is so often a wonderful thing.
After a challenging 2023, McLaren then moved to Mercedes engines after the papaya-coloured team and the Silver Arrows made a deal. The turnaround for McLaren after 2023 has been stunning, which then saw them take the constructors' title in 2024.
Had Wolff known the British team would be capable of that, a deaal might not have been struck. "With the knowledge I have today, I don’t know if it was the most intelligent choice of my life to make that deal with them," laughed Wolff.

Alonso gives insight into Newey's work ethic

Exciting times are potentially on the way for Aston Martin.
With Adrian Newey at the helm of designing the 2026 car for the Silverstone-based team, there is plenty of chatter surrounding the potential for both Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll next season.
Alonso has also had his say on what the master designer is like while working on his craft, with the Spaniard reveal the steel-like focus Newey has on next season.
