Verstappen stars in photoshoot as fans draw strange conclusion

Red Bull Racing has shared photos of Verstappen over the past day where the four-time world champion was the model.

Together with the three pictures, the team wrote in the caption: "Off-season style."

The photoshoot was created for the CitizenK magazine which was headlined by the Red Bull driver after he missed out on a fifth title in a row by just two points in the end at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Below the post, fans unanimously pointed out that it is odd to see Verstappen without wearing Red Bull merchandise.

One comment jokingly wrote: "That’s Fran! Max's wardrobe in RB kit, simply lovely merch and skinny jeans. C'mon Admin! You know this."

Another added: "Max Verstappen without Red Bull merch? Must be AI."

In an Instagram story shared by Kelly Piquet, Verstappen's girlfriend revealed one of the gifts the Dutchman received for Christmas.

Printed on the shirt was an 'image' of the Dutchman celebrating his victory at the Las Vegas Grand Prix earlier this year. He is shown holding up his middle finger with the trophy while wearing the famous Las Vegas podium glasses.
