Like the rest of the grid, the Spaniard is also making the most of the winter break as he prepares to begin his 23rd F1 season.

The two-time world champion enjoyed a laid-back Sunday as he waits for Formula 1 to return in just under a month in Barcelona, heading out on a countryside getaway with his partner, with whom he has been dating since 2023.

Alongside a photo with his partner, the Spaniard also showcased his Aston Martin Valiant — one of Aston Martin’s flagship road cars — sharing views of the car both inside and out.

“Perfect Sunday ride, Valiant, you’ve got it all,” the Spaniard wrote in the caption that accompanied the post.

The Frenchman believes Alonso “still has the same passion that he had when he was world champion back in 2005,” to the point that he says he comes across more like a 25-year-old than someone approaching his mid-forties.

According to Grosjean, the way Alonso manages his agenda — from his schedule to his travel commitments — plays a key role in allowing him to perform at such a high level at this age, alongside, of course, his undeniable talent.
