During the 2020 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix the 'P3 seat' was stolen by Max Verstappen. Last season the Dutchman was almost always behind both Mercedes cars on the lowest spot on the podium and according to Verstappen himself that was reason enough to take the seat home. During the winter test in Bahrain, the moment will be revisited during a press conference.
During a press conference after the test days at the Bahrain International Circuit, the rightmost seat was allocated to Valtteri Bottas. However, he knows all too well that it is actually Verstappen who has a 'subscription' to that seat.
"It feels like I'm sitting on your seat," Bottas says to Verstappen, who then responds, "I think I stole mine." For the Red Bull Racing driver, it is at least to be hoped that he gets to sit in the middle more often in 2021.
