Sainz dissatisfied: "Surprised by that half second."

Carlos Sainz set fifth fastest time in Friday's second free practice. However, he is not very satisfied, because he was very surprised by the speed of the competitor.

"It was a good Friday for me because I felt a little better with the car, although it was a strange day because we tried a lot of experimental things when tuning the car. We also had to do a good lap quickly if Saturday's qualifying was not going to go ahead", says Sainz according to Marca.

Above all, he wasn't satisfied with the speed of Racing Point. The team was about half a second ahead of the fastest McLaren. "I was a bit surprised by the half second. I say this because we are no longer far from the limit of our car and they are very strong", explains Sainz.

Last week McLaren managed to score more points in the race, partly due to the podium of Lando Norris. Racing Point and McLaren will both hunt for a podium this weekend as well.
