Carlos Sainz is a big fan of compatriot Marc Marquez. The MotoGP rider has already won eight world championships at the highest level. In terms of talent, Marquez is compared to Ayrton Senna by Sainz.
By Spanish AS Sainz was asked which F1 driver Marquez would be. Sainz did not have to think about that for long: "Márquez in F1 would be Senna. I have no doubt about that because he is the only one I have seen do impossible things like Senna did," said the Ferrari driver. And whether Marquez is most like Verstappen among the current F1 drivers, he says: "Maybe, but I prefer to stick to my answer of Senna."
Sainz will enter his third season at Ferrari next season, again as Charles Leclerc's teammate. The Spaniard himself is particularly keen to gain consistency in 2023, as he has indicated several times in recent weeks. A first world title is the big goal, but of course Sainz also depends on how competitive next year's Ferrari car is.

Christmas wishes from Sainz and Leclerc
