Oscar Piastri, who, like Nyck de Vries, will drive for the first time at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, is looking forward to the Canadian Grand Prix. In Montreal, the 22-year-old driver hopes to finish in the top ten for the third time after Australia and Monaco.
How did Piastri prepare for the new circuit? "Yeah, I think pretty normal, to be honest, nothing too much more. I played the track when I was growing up on the F1 video games. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It looks cool. It looks quite bumpy and a bit dusty. And obviously, a lot of weather is hanging around. So we'll see how it goes. But I'm looking forward to getting out there."

A B-spec of the MCL60 is likely to be introduced in Austria or Britain. It is by far the biggest update of the season for the Woking-based racing stable, but Piastri does not know (yet) how much better that car will be than the current one.
"I haven't driven in the simulator yet. So I'm not sure. Hopefully, it's faster. That's obviously the plan. I think we're positive and optimistic about the new package we've got coming for Austria and Silverstone. We'll have to wait and see, but I'm looking forward to driving it in the sim when I have the chance and then obviously on the real track, too," he said.
