Mercedes have a succesful setup in Formula E as well as Formula 1. Nyck de Vries and Stoffel Vandoorne competed for the German team last season, where Vandoorne in particular achieved a lot of good results. The team have announced that both drivers will return next season.
Vandoorne and De Vries' success
Last season saw the debut of Mercedes in Formula E. They immediately achieved good results with drivers Stoffel Vandoorne and Nyck de Vries. Vandoorne was able to fight for the championship, finishing in second place. De Vries managed to achieve twelfth place, and is hopeful for more good results in the future.
"I feel comfortable in the car, and hope that we can continue to build on the foundation we have laid to achieve even more successes next season," said the Dutchman to various media.
Stoffel Vandoorne was also optimistic: "Hopefully we can fight for podiums and victories again next year."
