Will Verstappen race elsewhere ? Hints at interest in another racing class

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen loves racing. The Dutchman is known to love being on the (digital) asphalt outside Formula 1 too. On his Instagram, the two-time world champion shows interest in the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

If Verstappen is not in the paddock, he can be found in his simulator or in a GT3 car. Via his Instagram, he alludes to a possible bid to join the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The F1 driver posted a picture showing him and his father Jos preparing to get behind the wheel. Dutchman Nick Catsburg, who won this year's 24 hours, responded, saying,"Someone has to defend the Nürburgring 24 hours in a Ferrari 296!", to which Verstappen responded, "Fully agree, although I first need to get my licence!"

Should Verstappen seriously want to take part in the race, retrieving that licence, allowing to drive the Nordschleife, will not be such a problem.
