Marko comments on Hamilton's 2020 victories

According to Motorsport-Total.com Lewis Hamilton was the best driver of the season, followed by Max Verstappen. Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez took places three and four, while Alexander Albon was only thirteenth. Marko is asked if he agrees.

"Yes, we agree," he responds in an interview with the German site. "However, I base my answer only on the Hamilton race in Turkey."

In Marko's view, Verstappen made his only mistake of the season on the Istanbul Park circuit. Partly because of that mistake Hamilton managed to win the extremely wet Turkish Grand Prix.

Of the seventeen Grand Prix, Hamilton won a total of eleven in 2020. According to Marko, however, most of these victories are not so special: "Because we know that nothing can go wrong when you're leading with a Mercedes," according to the 77-year-old Austrian.
