Kimi Antonelli took part in the “Spot the Mistake” segment in the latest episode of Grill the Grid, displaying impressive F1 knowledge, even on past events, despite his young age. Kimi Antonelli is undoubtedly one of the big names for the future of
Formula 1, alongside many other young drivers who made their debut this year and are performing well.
Consider, for example, Isack Hadjar with Racing Bulls, Gabriel Bortoleto with Sauber, or Oliver Bearman, although the latter already competed in two races last year with Ferrari and Haas.
However, driving for a top team like Mercedes, the spotlight has been firmly on Antonelli this year.
The young Italian driver has faced not only the burden of carrying on the heavy legacy left by Lewis Hamilton, but also the challenge of competing in his first Formula 1 season against another tough rival, George Russell, who has raised the bar even higher this year.
His results have been mixed so far, but he has shown flashes of absolute class, such as the pole position achieved in the Miami sprint and the podium secured in Canada—the first of his early career.

Antonelli shows great F1 knowledge
But Antonelli has proven himself not only on the track but also in quizzes. The Bologna-born driver participated in the “Spot the Mistake” segment in the latest episode of Grill the Grid, demonstrating remarkable F1 knowledge, even on past events, despite being barely out of his teens.
The Mercedes driver was shown a series of images containing one or more incorrect elements from both recent and past races, including, for example, the famous Senna-Prost collision at Suzuka in 1989.

Antonelli fulfills special fan request
Although still very young and in his first season in Formula 1, Kimi has clearly gained a lot of popularity this year, especially in his native Italy, and naturally, photos and autograph requests are starting to pour in.
The autograph Antonelli recently had to give, just to fulfill a fan’s request, was rather unusual.
