Lando Norris’s outstanding pole position and Max Verstappen’s unremarkable seventh place are sparking a lot of debate online. Let’s take a look at some of the best reactions from social media users to the Austrian GP Qualifying.
After dominating throughout the weekend, Lando Norris confirmed his strong form in qualifying at the Red Bull Ring, a track where he has always been very competitive, securing a stunning pole position with a full half-second advantage over Charles Leclerc.
Third place went to a disappointed Oscar Piastri, who wasn’t able to put together a perfect lap this time. It was a big disappointment for Max Verstappen, who finished seventh in qualifying but didn’t get the chance to improve his time due to the yellow flag caused by Pierre Gasly.
A fantastic result for Bortoleto, who surprised by finishing eighth with Sauber. But how did fans react on social media to the qualifying session at Spielberg?
