Charles Leclerc won the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday. Yet after his convincing victory and battle with Max Verstappen, he cannot call himself the GPblog Driver of the Day.
Mick Schumacher is this week's big winner according to our readers with 41 per cent of the votes. The German had another strong weekend in Spielberg after picking up his first points in Formula 1 at Silverstone. Schumacher finished seventh in qualifying, but dropped to ninth in the sprint race. However, the Haas driver saved the best for last. After a number of overtakes, he finished in sixth place. It is his best F1 result to date, beating teammate Kevin Magnussen in the process.

Verstappen almost shares spot with Hamilton

The second spot is for Leclerc. The Monegasque received 26 percent of the votes after his convincing victory at the Red Bull Ring. The Ferrari driver made no less than three overtakes on Verstappen and was not in any trouble.
