Full results FP3 Silverstone | Verstappen dominant to P1

Up until now, Max Verstappen didn't make much of an impression at Silverstone, but the driver changed that in the third free practice session. He managed to pull away from the rest of the field by almost half a second.

On Friday, rain threw a spanner in the works and Verstappen experienced some problems in the second free practice session. In Saturday's third training session Red Bull Racing's driver was however back on top. With a time of 1:27.901, he was the only driver who managed to set a 1:27 and thus takes the fastest time of the practice.

Where the differences were small yesterday, in FP3 that is not the case. Sergio Perez set the second-fastest time, but was 0.410 of a second slower than his teammate. Charles Leclerc also came within half a second with a gap of 0.447. The top 5 is completed by George Russell and Lewis Hamilton on P4 and P5 respectively. Carlos Sainz did not come close to the Mercedes duo.
