Update | No further action on yellow flag investigations

Carlos Sainz finished in third position during the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. However, the Spaniard has to fear that he will have to surrender that position, as the FIA is currently investigating the end of the race. Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen should also watch out for a penalty.

Indeed, in the closing stages, the drivers had to deal with a virtual safety car, which forced them to reduce their speed. However, it seems that the Madrile born did not do so, so he may have to deal with a penalty. It would mean that Perez would move up one place.

The Mexican only has to fear such a scenario as well, because the Red Bull Racing driver, who started the race on pole position, also seemed to ignore the yellow flag. In addition to Perez and Sainz, the FIA is also investigating Kevin Magnussen.

Max Verstappen was the big winner of the weekend. The Dutchman managed to overtake Leclerc in the closing stages of the race and thus take the victory. The Monegasque had to settle for second place after his victory last week.

The stewards have decided that no further action will take place for the incidents under the yellow flag.
