Lewis Hamilton had a perfect opportunity to take over the championship lead from Max Verstappen in Baku. The Dutchman crashed in the closing stages of the race due to a puncture, leaving Hamilton with only the restart to survive.
That restart, however, was anything but flawless. The Mercedes driver seemed to have a better start than Sergio Perez, who started ahead of him. But when the Briton had to brake for the first corner, he shot straight on.

Brake Magic to warm up the brakes

Hamilton later revealed that he had accidentally touched a switch which meant his braking for turn one didn't go as he wanted. Mercedes calls that switch 'Brake Magic' and this setting is said to warm up the brakes faster due to hybrid settings.
Hamilton seemed to accidentally hit this switch on the restart, which prevented him from getting through the first corner. And in the short video below, it seems to be quite visible.
