Despite obviously being the fastest man on a Saturday so far this season, it's Charles Leclerc who claims this is the one he least expected so far this season. The Ferrari driver has now secured six pole positions so far this season, and he's "extremely happy."

Leclerc's intial reaction

In a post-Quali interview, the Ferrari driver said "it feels good, obviously all pole positions feel good. This one I probably did not expect it because I thought Red Bull were stronger," before adding, "I really struggled to see that we were fast but then in the last lap everything came together."

Looking forward to Sunday

Leclerc is looking forward to the race tomorrow, as he believes the Ferrari will have "quite a bit of offence" and that the race will come down to tyre management which is something that he believes the Ferrari does well, especially in the recent races. The 24-year-old is looking to bounce back from a shaky weekend at home in Monaco and wants to break the Red Bull winning streak.
