Bottas amazed about speed at Spa-Francorchamps every single year

Valtteri Bottas had to let teammate Hamilton lead during the third free practice after a big mistake in his fast lap. On Friday afternoon Bottas also had some balance problems, but that did not spoil the fun for the Finn.

"We were struggling with understeer all day and didn't really find a good solution for that. I think once the front end feels a bit stronger and I can get the car into the corners better, we'll find some lap time", said an optimistic Bottas.

Even though it didn't go great, Friday was a great day for the Mercedes driver. Bottas celebrated his 31st birthday and he said he wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way. Driving this car on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit is the best gift for him.
