Are Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet married?

In recent years, the couple has attended several weddings, prompting fans to wonder when it will be the Formula 1 driver’s turn next.

Max Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet have been a couple for over five years, but they are not married. As far as is publicly known, the Red Bull Racing driver hasn’t proposed yet — so the two are not engaged either.

A wedding therefore doesn’t seem to be on the cards for now, although Verstappen hasn’t ruled out popping the question in the future.

A wedding hasn’t happened yet, but the Verstappen-Piquet household continues to grow as well.

Kelly’s daughter, Penelope, was already living with them, and in the spring of 2025, their first child together, Lily, was born. There are also three cats—Jimmy, Sassy and Donatello—and a small dog, Nino, roaming around the house.

Earlier, footage surfaced of Verstappen and his girlfriend attending her brother Nelson Piquet Jr.'s wedding.

There, the Brazilian failed to catch the bridal bouquet — which, according to tradition, means they’re next to walk down the aisle. The moment also made the Dutchman laugh.

Earlier this week, an F1 driver popped the question: Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux announced their engagement ahead of the 2025 São Paulo Grand Prix.
