Cadillac driver Valtteri Bottas brought the morning session to a halt after he stopped on track during his run.
The veteran Finnish driver, who returned to the wheel of the Cadillac, stopped on track towards the end of the second sector during his run.
Bottas has since exited his car, with the session brought to a temporary halt. It is worth noting that teammate Sergio Perez also brought out the red flag during his run at the circuit yesterday.
