Max Verstappen must appear before the stewards. The
Red Bull Racing driver allegedly obstructed
Kevin Magnussen during qualifying for the
Austrian Grand Prix and could just lose his pole position for doing so.
Verstappen must appear before stewards
The
FIA has released a document showing that Verstappen is under the magnifying glass because of an incident that occurred during qualifying at the
Red Bull Ring. In doing so, the Dutchman allegedly 'unnecessarily hindered' Magnussen.
Verstappen and Magnussen must report to the stewards at 20:00 to tell their side of the story. Should the stewards rule against Verstappen, it could mean he would be put back three places on the grid. In that case, he would start Sunday's race not from pole position, but from P4.
