The FIA intends to consult with the Formula 1 drivers again in the short term about possible adjustments to the technical regulations. That meeting should take place before April 20, GPblog understands. The 22 Formula 1 drivers agree that some adjustments need to be made to the current technical regulations, although opinions differ on what exactly should happen.

The FIA and the teams’ technical personnel met virtually last Thursday to discuss potential short-term changes. The aim is for the team principals to make decisions on April 20, after which the resolutions must be ratified by the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC).
Before the team principals meet, the FIA intends to first discuss the findings of the latest technical meeting with the
F1 drivers. With no Grands Prix in these weeks, that consultation will logically take place online.
Verstappen and other critics will thus have another opportunity to voice their issues and propose their own amendments to the rules.
Incidentally, this will not be the first time the drivers are listened to. In recent months, their input has regularly been taken into account, this website understands.
