The FIA has summoned three drivers over alleged infringements committed during British Grand Prix qualifying. They will be required to appear before the stewards after the session.
Two of those drivers, Pierre Gasly and Lance Stroll, have been summoned over an incident involving the pair during Q1. The Alpine driver has been called to the stewards for allegedly impeding the Aston Martin driver at Turn 15.
As for Esteban Ocon, the third driver summoned, he has been called to the stewards for an alleged breach of Article B1.8.4(a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations and Article 2.5.5(b) of Appendix H to the FIA International Sporting Code, after allegedly failing to slow for single yellow flags at Turn 13.
Gasly finished qualifying in 12th place, while Ocon ended up 17th. Stroll was second from last as Aston Martin continued to struggle, although the Canadian can take some satisfaction from outqualifying his team-mate for the second time in the last three races.
