A big crash in the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan race, a support event prior to F1's Japanese Grand Prix has caused a delay to the start of the main race.
The incident took place when a car flipped into the barriers after the Turn 12 hairpin, dramatically barrel-rolling before stopping at the banking beyond a fence.
The driver is believed to be okay, reportedly walking away from the incident, but repairs are ongoing at Turn 12.
The FIA have confirmed to GPblog: "Start of formation lap will be delayed due to barrier repairs ongoing at Turn 12 after an incident in a support category.
"We will provide further updates on a new start time for formation lap. Pit lane open timing for reconnaissance laps will also be delayed."

The FIA have confirmed that the formation lap will start at 14:10 local time (06:10 CET), ten minutes later than planned.
