Historic Ferrari and Mercedes figure Ross Brawn has officially been announced as part of the Pramac Racing Board of Directors in MotoGP, where he will serve as an advisor to Team Principal Paolo Campinoti. Ross Brawn comes out of retirement to join Pramac Racing

Mercedes’ rise between 2010 and 2013 ahead of handing the project over to Toto Wolff - is now set for a return to motorsport.
In total, Brawn claimed an incredible 22 world titles during his
Formula 1 career - evenly split between 11 constructors’ championships and 11 drivers’ crowns - establishing himself as one of the most successful and influential figures the sport has ever seen. Now, at 71 years old and after spending several years away from the paddock, the Brit is preparing to begin a completely new chapter in MotoGP and the world of two wheels.
Speaking about Brawn’s arrival, Campinoti praised the Brit’s remarkable legacy in Formula 1 while also underlining the strong personal relationship the pair have built over the years. The Pramac boss added that Brawn’s experience and winning approach could become a major asset for the team’s future ambitions and development.

Speaking about his new role, the Brit said he was delighted to join the board of Pramac Racing Limited in a non-executive position, stressing that motorsport has always been built around teamwork, people and constant improvement. Brawn also explained that he is looking forward to supporting Paolo Campinoti and the rest of the team with his experience, while praising Pramac for building an ambitious and highly impressive organisation ahead of its future projects.
