Following Alpine’s request to review the time penalties Pierre Gasly received at the Monaco Grand Prix, a hearing date has now been set. It will take place on Thursday, 11 June. Gasly originally crossed the finish line in third place at the Monaco Grand Prix, ahead of Red Bull Racing's Isack Hadjar, but after the two five-second penalties he received for speeding in the pit lane were applied to his race time, the Frenchman was relegated to seventh place.
"After the result of today's Monaco Grand Prix, BWT Alpine Formula One Team can confirm it has requested a Right of Review from the FIA following the penalties applied for pit lane speeding,"
read the statement from the French team on Sunday.
Alpine to present its new information on this Thursday
Alpine will now be able to present its "significant and relevant" new information at 13:00 local time (12:00 GMT) on 11 June, Thursday, ahead of the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
The stewards' document writes: "The team representative is required to report to the Stewards on Thursday 11th June 2026, at 13:00 CEST in relation to the above. The hearing will be held virtually via video conference, details of which will be provided by separate communication. It should be noted that this Hearing will be held in two parts. The first part will be to hear evidence and submissions from the petitioner as to whether there is a “significant and relevant new element which was unavailable to the party seeking the Review at the time of the Decision concerned.”
"Should the Stewards determine, in accordance with Article 14.3 of the FIA International Sporting Code, that such an element exists, a second part of the Hearing will be convened at a time to be advised, in all likelihood shortly after the first part of the Hearing."
