Mercedes have extended their Constructors' championship lead after their third consecutive victory of 2026 at the Japanese Grand Prix. Ferrari trail the Silver Arrows by 45 points, and
McLaren finally score some big points after Oscar Piastri's P3 finish and Norris finishing P5.
It was a tough day for Red Bull as Verstappen crossed the line P8, behind Pierre Gasly, whose Alpine have leapfrogged the Milton Keynes team to take P5 in the Constructors.
Red Bull are now under pressure from sister team Racing Bulls after Liam Lawson's P9 finish, while Esteban Ocon's point in P10 keeps Haas ahead of Verstappen's team.
It was another point-less day for Aston Martin, but they at least finished the Grand Prix thanks to Fernando Alonso's P18 finish.
