Ricciardo looks to enjoy summer break despite chaos at McLaren

You'd think Daniel Ricciardo wouldn't be enjoying the four-week summer break now that his seat at McLaren is under threat, but the Australian seems to be enjoying his holiday in peace. In his new YouTube video, Ricciardo travels around the state of Montana in America with friends.

Ricciardo's seat at McLaren is uncertain, and with it, his place in Formula 1. The British team would have promised Oscar Piastri a seat for 2023, while the Alpine junior would actually replace Fernando Alonso now that the Spaniard has left for Aston Martin. However, it looks like Ricciardo will have to make way for the other Australian, but McLaren will have to pay dearly for that.

It is known that Ricciardo is not comfortable in his new team. The driver is now driving his second season for McLaren, but he still cannot keep up with the pace of teammate Lando Norris. There may be a place for Ricciardo at Alpine's old team, but Alpine might have other drivers in mind. In any case, Ricciardo seems to be enjoying the summer break in peace.
