Red Bull press officer mistook F1 impersonator for Verstappen: 'I panicked'

During the US Grand Prix weekend, well-known comedian and impersonator Conor Moore was present in the Formula 1 paddock. There, he gave Max Verstappen's press officer a good scare when he started talking to the media disguised as the Dutchman.

As Moore and Verstappen met in the paddock, the press officer recounted the moment. She thought she saw Verstappen alone in the media pen and that he was giving interviews without a press officer present to record the conversations. "I thought: who the F#&% is that? I panicked and was like: 'Is Max there on his own?!'" "Would I ever do that?", Verstappen says.
