"Next year will be our year" - Are Ferrari F1 fans right?

In GPblog's F1 Paddock Update, our hosts Ben and Jim regularly discuss the best comments they receive from our readers. In the latest episode, they discussed Ferrari's next shot at winning a world title.

The comment they received read: "To be honest, I believe that Russell's only chance to win the World Drivers' Championship is this year, because Mercedes will lose their advantage next year, and I believe that Ferrari might be the fastest in 2027."

Russell's star power was also debated in our previous video, and whether he is on the same level as Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen. One comment read: "Yes he does, but that's not what makes you world champ. It's finishing first at the end of the year. The same could be said about Hill and Villeneuve for example."
