The Formula E weekend in Shanghai got off to a bizarre start. In the first free practice, several drivers stalled at the same time, including Nyck de Vries. The session was halted to investigate the cause and it seemed to lie with a recent update to the battery software. A rollback to an earlier version of the software seems to have solved the problem for now.
