For Mercedes the grapes were sour after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. They did win the constructors' championship, but losing the world title with Lewis Hamilton was a real blow. Toto Wolff was very frustrated and the protests of the German racing team did not help. After that Mercedes decided to move to a club.
Images that have surfaced show that Wolff and Valtteri Bottas have had a drink after the debacle at the Yas Marina Circuit. For Bottas it is also his farewell party at Mercedes, as the Finn will be replaced by George Russell next year.
